Wickles Dirty Dill Fried Pickle Sliders

The Fourth of July is next week and we’re cooking up these Dirty Dill Fried Pickle Sliders!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 24 Dirty Dill Chips
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • peanut or vegetable oil, for frying

Toppings

  • 12 frozen meatballs, prepared
  • Your favorite ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 6 grape tomatoes, halved

Directions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot until it reaches 350˚F (120˚C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne, paprika, salt, and pepper, and mix until evenly distributed. Dredge the Dirty Dill Chips in the flour mixture, then the eggs, then the flour mixture, then the eggs and then the bread crumbs. This will create extra crunch. Fry the Dirty Dill Chips for 3 to 5 minutes, or until browned and crispy on the outside.
  3. Using a toothpick, assemble a slider by layering a fried pickle, ranch dressing, a meatball, lettuce, a tomato slice, and one more pickle. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
