Jalapeño Cream Cheese Quesadillas

Creamy, cheesy, and perfectly spicy—these Jalapeño Cream Cheese Quesadillas featuring Wickles Jalapeño Slices are a quick and tasty way to turn up the heat at dinnertime.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Wickles Pickles Jalapeño Slices, chopped
  • 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for cooking
  • Sour cream and salsa, for serving

Directions:

  1. Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, and chopped Wickles Pickles Jalapeño Slices. Stir until everything is well combined. If you’re using bacon, fold in the crumbled bacon and chopped green onion.
  2. Assemble the quesadilla: Lay one tortilla on a flat surface and spread a generous amount of the jalapeño cream cheese mixture evenly over it. Place another tortilla on top to form a quesadilla. Repeat with the other tortillas.
  3. Cook the quesadilla: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter. Place one quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  4. Repeat: Remove the cooked quesadilla from the skillet and repeat with the remaining quesadillas, adding more butter as needed.
  5. Slice and serve: Once all the quesadillas are cooked, slice them into wedges and serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
