Wickles Stuffed Onion Rings

Wickles, the ingredient you never knew was missing from onion rings – until now! Deep fry, or air fry, this recipe will have you grabbing for more.


  • 2 yellow onions
  • 1 cup panko crumbs, season with red pepper flakes
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour, season with salt and pepper
  • 1 jar Wickles Wicked Pickle Chips
  • Toothpicks


  1. Peel and slice onions into rounds
  2. Place a Wickles Wicked Pickle Chip in the middle of an onion round and spear with toothpick to keep in place. *If onion is larger than pickle, cut slit in onion and wrap around Wickles Wicked Pickle Chip, secure with toothpick
  3. Dip onion wrapped Wickle in flour, then egg, then panko
  4. Fry in oil until golden brown
  5. Alternatively, dip onion ring in four, egg, and panko 
  6. Place on parchment paper in air fryer, air fry until crispy
  7. Remove toothpick and enjoy
