Garlic Dill Focaccia Bread

Transform your bread game with our Garlic Dill Focaccia, infused with the bold character of Wickles Pickles Wicked Garlic for an unforgettable taste sensation.

Ingredients:

  • 5 ⅓ c bread flour
  • 2 ¾ c lukewarm water
  • 1 ½  tsp dry yeast
  • 3/4 tbsp fine sea salt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of dill
  • 12 cloves of Wickles Wicked Garlic

Directions:

  1. Combine lukewarm water, yeast, and honey in a medium bowl with a whisk. After 5 minutes, the mixture will become frothy, signaling the yeast is ready.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a large bowl with a whisk. Add the yeast mixture and mix with your hands to form a wet, sticky dough without dry spots. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth for 10 minutes.
  3. With damp hands, stretch a piece of dough and fold it across itself. Turn the bowl and repeat this action three more times, covering the dough again for 10 more minutes.
  4. Continue this process until the dough shapes into a ball
  5. Coat a new bowl with 4 tsp of olive oil, place the dough inside, cover tight with plastic, and let rest in the fridge for 18 hours.
  6. Oil a baking tin with 4 tsp of olive oil. Stretch dough to a rough rectangle, not completely to the edges. Protect it with a damp cloth and let rise for 2 to 3 hours in a warm spot.
  7. Preheat your oven to 390 degrees.
  8. After the rise, dimple the dough with your fingers. Add Wickles Wicked Garlic and dill on top. Drizzle with 2 tbsp of olive oil and season with flaky sea salt. Bake for 30 minutes until golden on top.
  9. Allow focaccia to cool slightly and transfer to a wire rack for 30 minutes.
